First, let me introduce you to a great meal. Last night, I went to “Treasures” in Las Vegas. Now, now… don’t go haywire on me… Yes, it’s a strip club – but I only read the articles – LOL
If you take a severe left after entering… you’ll find yourself in a well maintained (it’s fairly new anyway), darkly lit, European atmosphere with deep chairs and high backs… pretty private!
OK – now the good part: I had what I believe to be… the second best Porterhouse I’ve ever eaten!! As you know, porterhouse steaks are hard to find on any menu. But they have it… and the chef knows “Pittsburgh Style” which is how I always order my steaks. (Pittsburgh Style – if you don’t already know, is hard to accomplish because it takes a very hot fire. It’s the fast searing (very dark to black) on the outside while remaining very rare on the inside). Black on the outside, Red on the inside (for you Roulette players).
Although they offer a free buffet in the main room, in the restaurant, Treasures meals are spendy $$$ – but I told you a Hot Deal is coming…
Here’s the bad news: Taxi to Treasures: $20. Cover charge to get in: $20 each person. Porterhouse Steak (done to perfection) $48 plus $7 for the baked potato (big enough for two), and $8 for a huge plate of mushrooms (also perfect and enough for the whole gang). Add the tip… (I hope you get Cecilia as your server – a New Yorker who calls it like it is (whoda thunk it???))… and you have a fairly hefty dinner bill.
But Wait! If you order now… LOL
Here’s the good news:
Go to Tix4Tonight (I went to the Fashion Show Mall location) and get a couple dinner coupons for Treasures ($3ea). Then, Treasures will send a limo… waive the cover charges… and give you 50% off your entrees!… and oh yes – the limo will take you back! That’s a Hot Deal!
