PokerStars has released a version of their software for the Mac! I for one am very happy about this because…
I’ve wanted to try their site for a long time. This is truly something to celebrate! As you know, I’m a Mac fan… No, a Mac Evangelist! I love all things Mac… (and you would to if you’d only try it). There’s no excuse now for everyone NOT owning a Mac… Macs play ALL PC software now! …and NO viruses, NO crashes, EXTREME ease of use…. etc, etc, etc,…

I’m hoping it’s a temporary thing… but it’s devastating for them.
I had an unsuited A - 3 at the moment it died… so, no big loss there!
How long has it been since you’ve visited Las Vegas? If it’s been more than a blink of your eye, you won’t recognize it the next time you’re there!
I’ve learned to never expect the same LV that I remember. It’s a constantly evolving city that never sleeps! I know New York claims that distinction… but c’mon, you won’t see such drastic changes in NYC that you do in LV.
In Las Vegas, it’s Hotels down, followed by Hotels up. Six hotels have been imploded there in the last 10 years. And the newer hotels can hardly be classified as hotels… that term is to be reserved for other cities. So don’t expect the great “hotel bargains” and “free stuff” of the past. They disappeared with the $.99 dinners.
How can anyone be such a blatant hypocrite? How can anyone - especially an elected official be so obviously selfish? How can Massachusetts’ Governor want to put online gamblers in Jail - while trying desperately to get three new casinos in his state?
Oh, I guess I answered my own question, didn’t I?

So now, a group of professors at the University of Alberta has developed “Polaris”, a computer with the ability to beat humans in Poker. The best news is this:
1) The computer lost in July - but the Profs say they’ll correct that “mistake”.

If the site itself survives (and it should - can you imagine a “cleaner” poker site online right now??? LOL - they gotta be checking, and checking twice, and on and on and on), there will be top officials in the company all the way up to the Mohawks in Canada that will feel the sharp tomahawk sever their career. But poor Serinda… not her!
