The Belmont Stakes is just hours away, and I’m now watching the under card. So, it’s time to give you my picks for the Belmont…

I want to see “Mine That Bird” win it for Calvin’s sake. It would be amazing to have that record set that we will never see again! It’s inconceivable that we’ll ever repeat this scenario again; a “Jockey” Triple Crown winner (without the horse).

But, I’m leaning toward the gray; “Dunkirk”. I expect this “unhappy” upset in the Belmont:

Win) Dunkirk

Place) Mine That Bird

Show) Charitable Man (but he certainly might upset these picks (and me) by winning the whole thing.

So, there you have it… take it to the window (and then to the bank)
