The 133rd running of the Belmont Stakes will take place at Belmont Park, in Elmont, NY on June 7th, 2008.

There is so much drama building for this race, that it’s going to be a huge, horseracing event!

Will Big Brown win the Belmont and become the 12th Triple Crown Winner in horseracing history, and the first in 30 years?

Will he get upset? His contenders are few but mighty.

* Details: Kentucky Jockey Club winner finished eighth in the Kentucky Derby. His race record is 7-2-1-0.

* Details: Lexington Stakes winner was scratched from the Preakness Stakes because of a bruise in his left front foot. His race record is 5-3-1-0.

Big Brown

* Captured the Kentucky Derby two weeks before exploding to victory in the Preakness Stakes. His race record is now 4-4-0-0, and he has won by a combined total of 39 lengths.

Casino Drive
